What color is King Ghidorah?

悪役怪獣ナンバーワンのキングギドラは,キングという名のとおり,全身が金色に輝き、怪獣の中の怪獣といった風格がある。しかし、このキングギドラのぬいぐるみは最初, 青い色に塗られていた。羽も3色に塗り分けられていて、映画公開まえの宣伝用のスチールやポスターなどは,このぬいぐるみが 使われていた(円谷特技監督は初め, 赤いキングギドラにしようと思っていたそうだ)。

King Ghidorah, the number one villain monster, as the name suggests, has a golden shining body and is like a monster among monsters. However, this King Ghidorah stuffed animal was initially painted blue. The wings were also painted in three colors, and this stuffed animal was used for promotional steel and posters before the movie was released (Tsuburaya Productions initially wanted to make it a red King Ghidorah).

また, キングギドラは中に人がはいって動かすほか、三つの首と2枚の羽, しっぽなどを約10人がかりで操演するなど, 撮影も大変な手間がかかってい る。ヤマタノオロチにヒントを得たデザインは,美術の渡辺明によるもの。

In addition, King Ghidorah takes a lot of time and effort to shoot, as people enter and move it, and about 10 people perform the three necks, two wings, and the tails. The design inspired by Yamata no Orochi is by the art of Akira Watanabe.
