Since starting Godzilla toy photography in 2014, I’ve worked to get better with each shot. I strive to capture the wonderful feelings of nostalgia when I watched Godzilla movies growing up. I call my approach Retrodrama (レトロドラマ) in which I want viewers, if just for a moment, to believe the image is an authentic movie still or a behind-the-scenes shot recreating retro drama in a diorama. It has been a great honor to work with Akihiko Gee Okamoto, Kazuma Matsubara, Jeremy Soles (Summit Kaiju International) and X-Plus Co. Ltd. And a special thanks to Master Yuji Sakai.
