田中友幸や本多猪四郎の判断により、脚本にはあるが撮影されなかったシーンはいくつかある。だが、8月7日からの1週間ほど組まれていた鳥羽ロケでは、撮影がなされてからカットされた場面が2つほど存在している。

Due to the judgment of Tomoyuki Tanaka and Ishiro Honda, there are several scenes in the script that were not filmed. However, at the Toba location, which was set for about a week from August 7th, there are about two scenes that were cut after shooting.

大戸島の共同墓地での墓参りと、半鐘が鳴る直前、浜辺にて朝の散歩をする尾形と恵美子。検討稿では、散歩の際に岩礁だと思った尻尾が動くという展開になっていた。

Ogata and Emiko visit a grave at a cemetery on Odo Island, and take a morning walk on the beach just before the half-bell rings. In the study draft, the tail, which they thought was a reef, moved during a walk.
