The days of 2020 have been very difficult since the COVID-19 crisis broke out back in March. I can count on my hands how many times I have left the house this year. But I cannot count how many things I am thankful for. I take joy in the little things these days and find much pleasure in being safe and working from home. From 9 am to 8 pm, I’m in front of my computer working and checking social media from time to time to take a break and to see what’s going on. I try to stay up with Japanese Twitter by following as many accounts of Godzilla fans, enjoying their posts, art, photography, and comments. This week, I was so happy to see this post. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing Japanese collectors enjoying X-Plus releases that I’ve had the honor contributing to. Below is the X-Plus Yupik Sakai Godzilla 1995 Soft Vinyl Model Kit. Seeing this made my day.

This photo was tweet by @maigo_R to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Godzilla vs Destoroyah released in 1995. It was an honor to create the X-Plus box art for DesuGoji sculpted by Master Godzilla Sculptor Yuji Sakai. I worked together with Jeremy Soles of Summit Kaiju International.
