小笠原諸島の大戸島付近の海底に暮らす15mほどの巨大生物。日本海軍守備隊を俊敏な動きで襲撃し、整備兵を次々に咥えて投げ上げ殺戮した。零戦も咥えて投げ上げるパワー。呉爾羅の名は、島民の間で恐怖と共に伝承されている。

GOJIRA
A gigantic creature about 15 meters long that lives on the ocean floor near Odo Island in the Ogasawara Islands. It attacked the Japanese naval garrison with swift movements, grabbing maintenance soldiers one after another and throwing them into the air, killing them. It has the power to grab a Zero Fighter and throw it up. The name of GOJIRA is passed down with fear among the islanders.

再生能力
理屈を超えた再生能力。機雷が口内で爆発して顔の半分近くが吹き飛んでも、速やかに皮膚や肉が盛り上がり、目玉や牙までも再生を遂げる。放射熱線の凄まじい熱で自らの顔が焼け爛れても復活する。再生した部分には変色が見られる。

Regeneration ability
A regenerative ability that goes beyond logic. Even if a mine explodes in his mouth and nearly half of his face is blown off, his skin and flesh quickly swell up, and even his eyes and fangs regrow. 背びれ
被爆により、雪の結晶が成長するように背びれの突起が巨大変異。放射熱線を吐く際は、尾の先から頭へ青く輝いてせり上がり、ガシャリと音を立てて食い込む。インプロージョン方式の原爆を思わせるその動きの直後、口から凄まじい光が放たれる。

Dorsal fins
