Godzilla was released on Asahi Sonorama flexi-sheets and Toho Records 7-inch records during the 70s. My latest Asahi Sonorama Godzilla album (ゴジラ•モスラ•キングギドラ 地球最大決戦, released 1/17/1972) is the Ghidorah The Three-Headed Monster adapted for vinyl. Listen, read and enjoy.

ゴジラ
Godzilla

生まれ＝南大平洋の海底。水爆実験のショックでよみがえった。しばらく北極海の氷山にかくれていたが、異常な気温の上昇によってふたたびすがたをあらわした。大きさ＝身長•50メートル　体重•2万トン。とくちょう＝① 口から放射能のまじった火をはく。② 尾の1ふりはジャイアント馬場の5万倍で、破かい力はばつぐん。③ 夜でもものがみえる赤外線眼をもつ。④ 始めて東京に上陸したころは、命知らずの暴れ者で、人間に大きな害をあたえたがだんだん人間のために働く怪獣になりつつある。⑤ ミニラというこどもがいる。

Born = Bottom of the South Pacific Ocean. Revived by the shook of the hydrogen bomb test. He was hidden by an iceberg in the Arctic Ocean for a while, but he reappeared due to an abnormal rise in temperature. Size = Height • 50 meters; Weight • 20,000 tons. Advantages = ① Blow fire mixed with radioactivity from the mouth. ② One flick of its tail is 50,000 times stronger than giant racetrack, and its breaking power is outstanding. ③ Has infrared eyes that can see things even at night. ④ When he first landed in Tokyo, he was a daredevil who caused great harm to humans, but he is gradually becoming a monster that works for humans. ⑤ He has a child named Minya.

生まれ＝金星。５千年まえ、金星をほろぼした凶悪な怪獣で、地球を侵略するためにやってきた。大きな＝身長•100メートル　とくちょう＝① 全身が金色にかがやき、マッハ3の速度で空を飛びまわる。② 飛ぶときの衝撃波は東京タワーもたおすほどである。③ 引力光線を口からはき、相手を無重力にした空中にうかべたり炎につつむ。④ 3つの首は最大の武器であり、同時に弱点にもなる。そこで、切られないためのさびぶくろをもつ。

Born = Venus. 5,000 years ago, a vicious monster that destroyed Venus and came to invade Earth. Large = Height: 100 meters Advantages: ① The whole body is golden, and it flies around the sky at a speed of Mach 3. ② The shock wave when flying is enough to knock down Tokyo Tower. ③ It emits gravitational rays from its mouth, makes the opponent weightless, floats in the air, and wraps itself in flames. ④ The three necks are the greatest weapon, and at the same time they are also the weak point. Therefore, it has a bumpy texture to prevent it from being cut.

テレビのワイドショーで金星人となのる、ふしぎな女性が地球人へのけいこくをはつしていた。「地球じんよ！わたしのよげんをおききなさい。五千年前、金星をほろぼしたキングギドラがおそってきます。地球人よ、こころせよ。このうつくしい、みどりの星を、のろいの火にやかれてはなりません……。

A mysterious woman who claims to be a Venusian on a TV show has been giving a warning to the Earthlings. “Earthling! Listen to me! Five thousand years ago, King Ghidorah, who destroyed Venus, threatens. Earthlings, take heart. This beautiful, green planet must not be burned by cursed fire…

マッハの速度で宇宙をかけ、引力光線を武器にしています。地球人よこころせよ！」

It travels through space at Mach speeds and uses gravitational rays as weapons. Take heart, earthlings! ”

ふしぎな女性のつぎにしょうかいされたのは、インファント島で、平和の守り神モスラといっしょにくらす、小美人たちだ。この小美人たちは、テレポシーでモスラと自由に話ができる。

After the mysterious women, the Shobijin who live with Mothra, the guardian deity of peace, on Infant Island. The Shobijin can talk freely with Mothra through teleportation.

おお！ラドンとゴジラの死闘がはじまった。テレビスタジオをぶちこわし、人々を大混乱におとしいれたラドンが、横浜に上陸したゴジラをみつけて超音速で飛んできたのだ。ラドンの超音速こうげき！ゴジラは放射能火炎！

Oh! The deadly battle between Rodan and Godzilla has begun. Rodan, who smashed the TV studio and threw people into chaos, found Godzilla landing in Yokohama and flew at supersonic speed. Rodan’s supersonic attack! Godzilla is a radioactive flame!

港はまっかな火につつまれ客船もまつ二つになった。

The harbor was engulfed in flames and the passenger ships were split in two.

ふしぎな女性とふたごの小美人はラドンのために大ケガをしたが、テレビ記者の直子と兄の進藤刑事にたすけられて病院へはこばれた。

A mysterious woman and the Shobijin were seriously injured by Rodan, but they were rescued by TV reporter Naoko and her older brother, detective Shindo, and taken to the hospital.

「先生！だいじょうぶでしょうか？」

“Teacher! Are you all right?”

「うーむ、もしかするとほんとうの金星人かもしれない。」

“Hmm, maybe it’s a real Venusian.”

「えっ！するとキングギドラがおそってくるというのもほんとうなのか！」

“Eh! Is it true that King Ghidorah will attack!”

小美人はインファント島からモスラをよんだ。モスラにキングギドラをたいじしてもらうのだ。モスラがんばれ！

The Shobijin summoned Mothra from Infant Island. They gets Mothra to exterminate of King Ghidorah. Go Mothra!

よげんはまちがっていなかった。三つの首をもつモンスター、キングギドラが東京にあらわれたのだ！

She was right. A monster with three heads, King Ghidorah, has appeared in Tokyo!

モスラはきた！そして宇宙最強のキングギドラにゆうかんにたちむった。

Mothra is here! And bravely confronted against King Ghidorah, the strongest in the universe.

あぶない！平和の守り神モスラがキングギドラにやられそうだ。

Caution! The guardian deity of peace, Mothra, is about to be defeated by King Ghidorah.

だがその時、ゴジラとラドンのなき声がひときわ高くきこえた。

However, at that time, the cries of Godzilla and Rodan were heard in a particularly high pitch.

地球の敵キングギドラをやっつけるために助だちにきたのだ。

Mothra

生まれ＝南大平洋の秘島インファント島。大きさ＝卵•100メートル　幼虫•40~150メートリ　成虫•250メートル　体重•1万5千トン　とくちょう＝① マッハ3で飛びまわり、羽根でおこる風は、風速500メートルの超特大台風。② 羽から黄色い粉をまく。この粉にふれると1秒で死んでしまう。③ インファント島の小美人と話ができる。

Born = Infant Island, a secret island in the South Pacific. Size = Eggs 100 meters Larvae 40-150 meters Adults 250 meters Weight 15,000 tons Advantages = ① It flies at Mach 3, and the wind that blows on its wings is a super-sized typhoon with a speed of 500 meters. ② Sprinkle yellow powder from the wings. If you touch this powder, you will die in 1 second. ③ You can talk to the little beauty on Infant Island.

生まれ＝九州阿蘇山の近くにある炭鉱の地底でうまれた。大きさ＝身長•50メートル　体重•1万5千トン　つばさ•120メートル。とくちょう＝① するどいくちばしてつめが武器。② つばさチョップはジャイント馬場の３万倍。③ 空をぶ速度はマッハ15. ④ 食物は、火山の溶岩や阿蘇の地底にいるメガヌロン。

Born = Born in the underground of a coal mine near Mt. Aso in Kyushu. Size = Height • 50m Weight • 15,000 tons His wings • 120m. Advantages = ① Sharp beak and claws are weapons. ② Tsubasa chop is 30,000 times bigger than giant track. ③ Flying speed is Mach 15. ④ Food is volcanic lava and Meganuron found in the underground of Aso.
