第1稿から約一ヶ月の時を置いて仕上げられた第2稿。前稿での警察と麻薬密輸団との対決の設定を仕切り直し、本稿では、セルジナ公国の元首後継者であるサルノ王女が、金星人に憑依された予言者役として新たに登場。王女を狙う暗殺団や王女を診察する塚本博士らのキャラクターの他、ラジオ局である××放送の番組『20世紀の神話』の諸設定も、本稿からのものである。

The second draft was completed about a month after the first draft. The setting of the confrontation between the police and the drug smuggling ring in the previous story has been revised, and in this story, Princess Sarno, the successor to the head of state of the Principality of Selgina, appears in the role of a prophet possessed by a Venusian. In addition to the characters of the assassin group targeting the princess and Dr. Tsukamoto who examines the princess, various settings for the radio station XX Broadcasting’s program “Twentieth Century Myths” are also derived from this article.

また前稿では、金巻班長に活躍の場を奪われ気味であった、××放送の女性記者・直子にもスポットが大きく当てられ、彼女の兄でもある警視庁刑事の進藤とともに兄妹揃って全編にわたって活躍する。

The previous article also focused a lot of attention on Naoko, a female reporter from XX Broadcasting who seemed to have been deprived of her role by Chief Kanamaki, and she plays an active role throughout the story along with her older brother, Shindo, a detective at the Metropolitan Police Department.

本稿ならではの描写は、シーン70のサル王女の金色の腕輪を入手するのが浮浪者、シーン80~87のゴジラと遭遇する航行中の寿山号の船橋場面などである。

The descriptions that are unique to this article include scene 70 where the vagrant obtains Princess Sarno’s golden bracelet, and scenes 80-87 where the ship is on the bridge of the Shouzan while it is sailing and encounters Godzilla.
