Walking is part of life in Japan. In the big city of Tokyo walking is not easy and never seems to get you anywhere. Unlike New York City, a few blocks in Japan doesn’t get you far. With that in mind, I carefully planed my days in Tokyo to optimize my footsteps. One early morning before hitting the Akihabara shops I stomped through Ginza following Godzilla 1954 footsteps. I weaved my way alongside commuters up the long Ginza streets to the river to Kachidoki Bridge toppled by Godzilla in the 1954 classic.
After I made my way back to the famous Wako and Toho Cinema buildings.
That was just the beginning of a great day!
