東宝では61年度東宝作品が本誌ベスト・テンはじめ数 数の賞を獲得したのを記念して、 2月23日東京会館で記 念パーティーを開いた。 席上30周年記念作品 「キングコング対ゴジラ」の製作が発表されるなど東宝らしいにぎやかな会だった。
Toho held a commemorative party on February 23rd at the Tokyo Kaikan to commemorate the fact that Toho’s work in 1961 won numerous awards, including the magazine’s Best Ten. The 30th anniversary commemorative work “King Kong vs. Godzilla” was announced, and it was a lively gathering typical of Toho.
