Buying Suspended
Planning a trip can be challenging and there will be bumps in the road. My trip to the airport just got complicated. I won’t have any immediate family members to drop me off there. So I need to figure out my transportation. In addition, I’m on a buying hiatus, or a “biatus” as of now. I’ve suspended buying collectibles and anything that is not for my trip. For the month of March I may only have one or two box days and those are the result of pre-orders. What I’m missing out on now I will make up for in Japan. Last night a long-overdue pre-order notification showed up in my inbox. That will cost me when I need to save as much money as possible. Always anticipate interruptions to your travel plans.

Today my focus has been on finding suitable walking shoes searching Amazon.com. There are a lot of choices but it’s tough making a choice. I will go out Saturday and find the right pair. Slip-on walking shoes make the most sense for Japan. Taking your shoes off at entrances to restaurants and homes is required. Tying and untying sneakers is a pain and time consuming.
