I can’t believe it but I’m on my way back to Japan. A few days ago I finalized my reservations to fly to the Land of the Rising Sun and the home of Godzilla in early May. My last trip was in 2016 to see Shin Godzilla and it seems like it was forever ago. I’m grateful to make another trip to my second home. There’s a lot to do over the next three weeks. There’s so much more to do and to see this time around. There are new shops, new spots, and most important there are so many friends to see.
On this trip I will visit familiar places, Tokyo, Karuizawa, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka. There are spaces, spots, and shops I’ve missed. I’d like to hit as many Godzilla places as possible. I want to go back to Kamakura and visit where Shin Godzilla (4th form) came ashore.
This time around I want to document everything and everywhere well with video, blogging, and social media posts. I intend to pack light and jam all my stuff in a single backpack. I buy luggage to bring back my Godzilla goods. I’m stoked and I hope you follow my next adventure in Japan. I hope to inspire you to go to Japan and live the dreams of every Godzilla fan!
