ゴジラのアトミック・パワーは,放射火炎(デビュー当時は白熱光と呼ばれた。) に代表される。あらゆるものを焼きつくし、鉄をも溶解する高熱の炎で, 東京の街を一夜にして焼土と化した。この威力により, 放射火炎はいかなる怪獣に対しても必殺の武器となっている。命中率も高く, 飛行する敵をねらい撃ち、撃墜することも難しいことではない。

Godzilla’s atomic power is represented by radiant flame (called incandescent light at the time of its debut). A high-temperature flame that burns everything and melts iron, turning the city of Tokyo into burnt soil overnight. Due to this power, radiant flames have become a deadly weapon against any monster. It has a high hit rate, and it is not difficult to shoot and it shoots down flying enemies.

ゴジラの火炎放射システムは,先天的に持っていたものとは思えず, アトミック・パワーをあびたのちにそなわったと思われる。だが, ミニラは、生まれつき火炎がはけるようだ。(もっとも、ミニ ラが、ほんとうにゴジラの息子であるという証拠はないのだが････。)

Godzilla’s flamethrower system does not seem to have been innately possessed, but seems to have been given atomic power. However, Minya seems to have a natural flame. (Although there is no evidence that Minya is really Godzilla’s son…)
