ガイガンは、ゴジラ、アンギラスと同じ二百五十分の一スケールで制作。ファンド(紙粘土)製の原型を型どりし、無発砲ウレタン樹脂で複製したもの。

Gigan is produced in the same 250/1 scale as Godzilla and Anguirus. A prototype made of Fundo (paper clay) is modeled and reproduced with non-explosive urethane resin.

腕は、ちがったかまえにしたものを三種類作って、ポーズがかえられるようにしてある。目はギ球で点灯し、腹部の回転カッターは、回転している状態のものを透明プラ板で制作し、とりかえられるようにした。メーサー車も、プラ板から作ったフルスクラッチモデルだ。

The arms are made in three different poses so that they can be posed differently. The eyes are lit with a ball, and the rotary cutter on the abdomen is made of transparent plastic sheets in a rotating state so that it can be replaced. The maser car is also a full scratch model made from plastic sheets.

ハンター星雲M星人が、地球を侵略しょうとしておくりこんだ、未来怪獣ガイガンとキングギドラ。ガイガンは宇宙生物をサイボーグ化したもので、レーザー光線や、手•足には強力な爪、腹部には回転カッターのある、全身武器のかたまりのようなやっだ。ゴジラとアンギラスは、どうやって戦うのだろう？

Future monsters Gigan and King Ghidorah sent by M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens to invade Earth. Gigan is a cyborg of space creatures, with laser beams, powerful claws on its hands and feet, and rotating cutters on its abdomen, like a mass of full-body weapons. How will Godzilla and Anguirus fight?

キングギドラ King Ghidorah

〝ザ特撮コレクション〟シリーズに、キングギドラが加わった。
King Ghidorah has joined the “The Special Effects Collection” series.

プロボーション、ディテールとも、ばつぐんのベストモデルだ。しっぼと首は、向きがかえられるように、予備のパーツがついている。四十八分の一スケールのX星人がおまけだ。(三百五十分の一スケール　千二百円　製作／千草巽)

It’s the best model in terms of both promotion and detail. The tail and neck have spare parts so that the direction can be changed. The 1/48th scale X Alien is a bonus. (350/1 scale, 1,200 yen, produced by Tatsumi Chigusa)

▶︎ 首の部分に、ぬいぐるみ人形の毛などとつけると、よくなるぞ。
If you put stuffed doll hair on the necks, it will get better.
