Today was another box day that brought the Yuji Sakai X-Plus Godzilla GMK! There are not enough adjectives in the lexicon to describe this one. An immediate shoot was in order. GMK is quietly becoming my most frequently used figure. As I worked through the foreground to the background I found more items to add to improve the sense of height, depth, and depth of field. Later, I added small details in Photoshop to make the shot more convincing. Here’s the set up.

And here’s the final post-production shot! The graphical enhancements add visual interest and realism. I’m learning that a great addition to detail pays off in the end.
