A Birthday Trip
Wednesday was my birthday! I won’t reveal my age but I’m up there with Godzilla. I’m grateful to God for another year of life. I was overwhelmed by the birthday wishes from my friends and family. I’m blessed to have so many loved ones. My trip to Japan is a present to myself.
As my departure date approaches, I’m closer to making my final purchases. Yesterday, I ordered a new jacket and two shirts. I was concerned about being warm but not overdressed. My brother recommended the Under Armour. Although Spring is at the door and time springs forward this weekend, I’m not sure about how cold or warm it will be in Japan. The weather there has been warmer than normal. But packing a protective layer of Under Armour will assure me the warmth I might need. This morning I realized my overstuffed wallet was falling apart and so I ordered a new one. Trips to Japan provide me plenty of incentive to update my clothing and accessories.

As I wait for them, another box day arrives with the Art Spirits MechaGodzilla set. It was a long time coming. It picked a bad time to show up but I’m grateful I don’t have any more outstanding pre-orders.
Every night I’m thinking about the details of my trip. But I’m overwhelmed with work during the day. I’m always inundated with projects and tasks before I go to Japan.
