I miss Japan and hope Japan misses me. I can’t wait to get back there. Last night, my memories kept coming after I saw this picture of Godzilla in Nagoya. Nagoya is my home away from home. I was an official alien resident of Nagoya in 2014. In 1962, Godzilla awoke and stomped his way through Nagoya taking down its famous Nagoya TV Tower and castle. In Godzilla vs Mothra (1992), Battra take the tour taking down the tower once again
The TV tower was my favorite walking destination every Saturday on my way to Mandarake. I went back to watch the Heisei film and I was surprised to see many streets that I had walked. So Godzilla, Battra, and I share something in common except for I didn’t leave a trail of destruction in my wake. Here’s Battra stomping Nagoya.
My Saturday morning ritual walk took me from my place of residence to the TV tower to Ōsu temple (for shopping) and back (Check out this short guide to Nagoya. Here is some pictures from my weekly walk. Take a walk with me through Nagoya!
