劇中では安豆味城として登場する城跡内の広場のシーンは、沖縄本島・中頭郡にある中城城跡の二の郭で撮影が行われた。撮影にあたっては、一の郭へと続く門の上にシーサー像と台座が建て込まれている。

The scene of the plaza in the ruins of the castle, which appears as Azumami Castle in the play, was shot at the site of Nakagusuku Castle in Nakagami-gun, Okinawa Island. For shooting, a Shisa statue and a pedestal were built on the gate leading to Ichino Guo [arch].

「琉球王国のグスク及び関連遺産群」として、 2000年に世界遺産に登録された。

It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2000 as “Gusuku Sites and Related Heritage Sites of the Kingdom of Ryukyu.”

シーサー像がないことを除けば、現地の様子 はほぼ当時のままである。

Except for the lack of a Shisa statue, the local situation is almost the same as it was at that time.
