Wonder Festival 2022

Yesterday was a holiday in Japan! It was Wonder Festival Summer 2022 (ワンダーフェスティバル2022[夏]) at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba. And as usually X-Plus previewed new Godzilla releases at their booth: Toho Maniacs X Alien, DefoReal Godzilla Final Wars Godzilla and Monster X, 25cm Godzilla (1992), Favorite Sculptors Line Monster Maker 25 MechaGodzilla 1974, Toho Daikaiju Series King Ghidorah (2019), and Gigantic Kong (2021). X-Plus also introduced new Ultraman, Gamera, Harryhausen, THE BOYS figures and much more.

Although I could not be there, MyKaiju toy photography was there at the X-Plus booth where the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla (2002) “Offense and Defense in the Storm” Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit Godzilla Store Limited Edition (東宝30cmシリーズ 酒井ゆうじ造形コレクション ゴジラ（2002）「嵐の中の攻防」 ソフビ組立キット ゴジラストア限定版) was on display. This is a 28-cm unassembled and unpainted soft vinyl model kit. It is available only through the Godzilla Store where it can be pre-ordered by international shoppers like myself using Buyee Japan. Although the kit has already sold out, it can still be preordered on on AwesomeCollector.com. Its release date is in September 2022.
