今や世界のスーパースターとなってしまっゴジラであるが、最近では最新作が製作され、公開直前にはPRのためにテレビで特番が放送されることも多い。ここではゴジラシリーズの特番についてスポットを当ててみよう。

古くは日本テレビの「おはよう!子供ショー」にゴジラが出演したのを皮切りに、フジテレビの看板番組であった「スター千一夜」には「南海の大決闘」の公開当時に、ゴジラ、エビラ、モスラの3怪獣がスタジオに勢ぞろい。
