人間並みに背すじをのばすことによって多少は歩きやすくなったが、それでも150キロもの重さがあり有名な松坂屋デパートのシーンではドテッと転倒、NGを出してしまった。ゴジラ独特のあの壮重な迫力はこうして生まれた。足のツメは4本、耳がとんがっていて、犬歯が発達しているのが特徴。狂気をはらんだ三白眼と、口もとにうかんだ笑みも不気味だ。皮フの色はグレー。

By elongating its back to human-like height, it became somewhat easier to walk, but it still weighed 150 kilograms, and in the famous Matsuzakaya department store scene, it fell flat and failed. This is how Godzilla’s unique, majestic power was born. It has four claws on its feet, pointed ears, and well-developed canine teeth. The insane sanpaku eyes [eyes with visible white between the iris and the lower eyelid] and the smile on the corner of his mouth are also eerie. His skin color is gray.
