Telepathy

英語では、TELEPATHY。超能力の一種で、遠く離れた相手と意志を通じ合う精神感応のこと。『ゴジラ対ヘドラ』の少年・矢野研(やの・けん)は、無意識の内にゴジラとテレパシーで交信し、気持ちが通じ合っていたのではないかと思われる。研自身、ゴジラからのテレパシーだと語っている。

In English, TELEPATHY. A type of psychic ability that allows one to communicate with another person far away. Ken Yano, the boy from Godzilla vs. Hedorah, may have subconsciously communicated with Godzilla telepathically and shared their feelings. Ken himself says that he is a telepath from Godzilla.

例えば研が、ゴジラをスーパーマンと答えていることから、ゴジラもスーパーマンのように空を飛んで欲しいという願いが心の中にあったと推測できる。ゴジラは研の願いを受けとめ、機会があれば空を飛ぼうと考えていたのかもしれない。

For example, since Ken answered that Godzilla is Superman, it can be inferred that Godzilla had a wish in his heart for him to fly like Superman. Godzilla may have accepted Ken’s wish and considered flying if given the chance.
