Kamata Station

Kamata Station (蒲田駅, Kamata-eki) is a railway station in Ota, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation.

Kamata Station is a busy commercial area with traffic running to and from the station. Here is where Shin Godzilla (2nd form) makes his way up the street sending many to escape in terror. It is from Kamata that the second form gets its nickname, Kamatakun. Looking up Tama Tsutsudori (多摩堤通), we can identify the streetlights that Kamatakun crawls through while the people run down the middle of a very busy and well-trafficked street. Looking down the street the Granduo signage can be see on the station facade as it can be seen briefly in the film. Along the street are many shops. After raising up on its back legs, Shin collapses before transforming near Kitashinagawa Station.

Kitashinagawa Station

Kitashinagawa Station (北品川駅) is where Kamatakun transforms into Shin Godzilla (3rd form) standing upright on its back two legs. This is a railway station on the Keikyu Main Line in Shinagawa operated by Keikyu.

Kitashinagawa Station is large full of many commuters and with many trains going in and out all the time. Keep your head on a swivel and obey all track and stop signs. Take a walk around the corner and spot many more Shin Godzilla places. But you will also be in the location the original Godzilla (1954) appears destroying an oncoming train.

Kitashinagawa Station

Kitashinagawa Station is the home of the Yatsuyama Rail Bridge which Shodai Godzilla destroyed. Also it is the home of the Keikyu Main Line with its iconic red cars and large series numbers displayed (eg N1000 series EMU). Shin Godzilla Form 3 flips the line into air with the flop of his tail onto the tracks.
