It is another Box Day! Today it’s the new X-Plus 30cm MOGERA (東宝30㎝シリーズ モゲラ(1994))! It’s a beautiful figure as I’ve come to expect from X-Plus. The proportions and accuracy seem to be spot on. Both paint job and detailing are good. My only wish is that there were points of articulation. Otherwise it’s a solid and substantial figure that should be any collection. The RIC version comes with light-up eyes. And the box art is cool too. MOGERA makes its appearance in Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla (1994). MOGERA is an acronym for “Mobile Operation Godzilla Universal Expert Robot Aero-type.” MOGERA was constructed from remaining pieces of MechaGodzilla (1992). It holds a special place in my heart because I was in Japan for the first time in 1994 to see that movie.
