今回は｢ゴジラクラブ｣にご入会いただき有難うござ いました。 早いもので, ゴジラが生まれ30年, その間多 くの皆さまにお楽しみいただき, プロデューサーとして､ これに勝る喜びはございません。 新作を製作するに当り、責任を痛感いたしております。

Thank you for joining the “Godzilla Club” this time. It’s early, 30 years since Godzilla was born, and during that time, many people have enjoyed it, and as a producer, I have no joy to surpass this. I am keenly aware of my responsibility in producing a new work.

ゴジラは核兵器の申し子であり, 人類の “闇” の部分 が生み出した悪夢です。神が, おごれる人類に警告のた めつかわされた“黙示録の聖獣” です。新生ゴジラは、この原点に立ち戻っています。ゴジラ自身も凄味のある恐怖の大魔王として登場します。

Godzilla is a child of nuclear weapons and a nightmare created by the “darkness” of humankind. He is the “Holy Beast of the Apocalypse” that God has warned of the unscrupulous mankind. The new Godzilla has returned to this origin. Godzilla himself will appear as a terrifying and horrifying great demon king.

文明社会のひずみが生み出した怪獣が, スーパーウェ ポンがどしどし開発されている現代の国際社会に登場し たら,いかなる闘いがそこに展開されるか。そのシュミ レーションもつくってみたかったのです。かならず皆さ まのご期待に添える映画とするつもりです。かわらぬご 支援を,お願い申し上げます。

If the monsters created by the distortions of civilized society appear in the modern international community where super weapons are being developed, what kind of battle will be developed there? I also wanted to make that simulation. I’m sure everyone will make a movie that meets these expectations. Thank you for your continued support.
