1974年に上映された『ゴジラ対メカゴジラ』は、玉泉洞でも撮影が行われた。劇中では、謎の金属片スペースチタニウムが発見されるが、その撮影場所として実際にこの「槍天井」のエリアが使用された。

“Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla,” which was screened in 1974, was also filmed at Gyokusendo. In the play, a mysterious piece of metal, Space Titanium, was discovered, but this “spear ceiling” area was actually used as the shooting location.

地球侵略を狙う宇宙人(大宇宙ブラックホール第3惑星人)によって製造された、地球侵略用兵品「メカゴジラ」。

“MechaGodzilla,” a weapon for invading the earth, manufactured by aliens aiming to invade the earth (the Third Planet of the Black Hole in the universe).

ボディーに用いられている地球外金属スペースチタニウムは、鋼鉄の10倍もの強度を持っており、地球人の通常兵品では歯が立たない。

The extraterrestrial metal space titanium used in the body is ten times stronger than steel, and is incomparable to the normal weapons of the Earthlings.
