KiryuGoji Design

機龍ゴジの方向性は、手塚監 督による意向。監督からの『メ ガギラス』 版ゴジラの改修オー ダーは以下の3点。① 頭を小さく。 ② 背ビレを小さく、③ 色を昔のものに戻す。このオーダーを 元に、若狭氏が Photo Shop上でミレゴジの画像を加工したものが、左のもので、機龍ゴジのデザイン画と呼ぶべき物になっている。監督は、ミレゴジの粘土原型時のスタイルがお 気に入りだったようで、そのイメ ージも盛り込まれている。

The direction of the machine dragon Goji (KiryuGoji) is the intention of the supervisor Tezuka. The following three points are the repair orders for the “Megagilas” version of Godzilla from the director. ① Make the head small. ② Make the back fin small and ③ return the color to the old one. Based on this order, Mr. Wakasa processed the image of MireGoji on Photo Shop, the one on the left, which should be called the design picture of KiryuGoji. The director seems to have liked the style of MireGoji’s clay prototype, and his image is also included.
