Yesterday, my brother surprised me with the best gift a brother can give. We are on vacation with my mom in Orlando, Florida. We’ve been vacationing down here for years. Over the years I’ve been able to find several collectible shows. This year was no exception. There is a cool comic shop called Mike’s Comics and Collectibles across from the Florida Mall. After a few miles on I-4 and couple u-turns we found the shop. Mike’s is a small shop but full of great hero statues and a wall of Star Wars toys. It’s worthy the visit when on vacation in Florida.
There below the Star Wars items was the big Big I came in looking for X-Plus figures but walked out with the big Big G 2014 figure. But there was my brother who scooped it up and rushed it off to the cashier. My brother has a long history of giving. Later that day he would give a homeless man water and a meal from McDonalds. With that said, my brother gave me my first Ultraman figure. It was many Christmas days ago when he gave me an 11-inch Bandai Ultraman figure purchased from Rocketships & Accessories back in the 80s (You never heard of Rocketships?! That’s for another blog post coming soon).
Great brothers give great gifts.
