Godzilla’s Bones

第1作以来、久々に画面に登場した初代ゴジラの骨。本作のショッキングビジュアルの一つとして効果を上げている。今回、骨に関しては第1作映像を使用せず、すべてこのモンスターズ製の造型物で新撮された。 頭部のみ粘土原型が起こされ、ボディー部分は、す べてウレタンの削り出しに表面コーティングをしたものだ。

The bones of the first Godzilla that has appeared on the screen for the first time since the first work. It is effective as one of the shocking visuals of this work. This time, the bones were not used in the first video, and all were newly shot with this Monsters model. The clay prototype is raised only on the head, and the body parts are all machined urethane with a surface coating.

ここでは、画面でクリアに映ることのない全身像を紹介しよう。こうして直立した写真を見ると、一層ショッキングなイメージだ。

Here, let’s introduce a full-body image that does not appear clearly on the screen. Looking at the upright photo, it looks even more shocking.
