対G特殊兵器の開発にあたっては、各研究分野の第一人者である科学者たちが、科学技術庁によって招集された。その主要メンバーは、赤松伸治（ロボット工学）、山田薫（マイクロ波）、菅野吾郎（低音物理学）、湯原徳光（人工生物学）。

Scientists who are leading experts in each research field were convened by the Science and Technology Agency in the development of special weapons against G. The main members are Shinji Akamatsu (robot engineering), Kaori Yamada (microwave), Goro Kanno (bass physics), and Tokumitsu Yuhara (artificial biology).

プロジェットは、湯原博士が骨から採取したで、本格的に動き出すことになった。

Since Dr. Yuhara collected the Project from the bone, it started to move in earnest.

放映庁技術研究所内に設けられた、巨大な水槽に骨は保管されていた。

Bones were stored in a huge aquarium set up in the Technical Research Institute of the Broadcasting Agency.

ゴジラの骨から骨髄間質細胞をさいそれを元に、生体ロボット開発増殖することに成功。対G特殊兵器への大きな一歩となった。

Succeeded in developing and proliferating a biological robot based on bone marrow stromal cells from Godzilla’s bone. It was a big step towards special weapons against G.

[Stromal cells, or mesenchymal stromal cells, are differentiating cells found in abundance within bone marrow but can also be seen all around the body.]

〝我われは現在考えうる最高のスタッフを集めています〟とマスコミにも語っていた柘植首相。プロジェクトチームは、首相の期待通りの成果を上げたのだ。

Prime Minister Tsuge told the media that “we are currently gathering the best staff we can think of.” The project team did what the Prime Minister expected.
