太平洋上でマグロ漁をしていて、放射能をあびたんだよ。

It was fishing for tuna in the Pacific Ocean and was exposed to radiation.

水爆実験で眠りをさまされ、日本をおそってきたんだね。

He was roused from his sleep by hydrogen bomb tests, and has been terrorizing Japan.

これが、アメリカの水爆実験で被害をうけた、第五福竜丸なんですね。

This is the Daigo Fukuryu Maru, which was damaged in an American hydrogen bomb test.

広島、長崎につづいて、また、核兵器の被害者が出たわけだ。

Following Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this is another victim of nuclear weapons.

初めて映画になったときのゴジラは･･････。
