A giant robot Godzilla, 4.8m tall, was widely publicized for PR purposes even before the movie was released. It was featured prominently in newspapers and other media, attracting attention not only from Godzilla fans but also from the general public. Not only can the various parts of its face move in various directions, but its neck, chest, and arms can also move. It was mainly used in close-up scenes during filming, and later traveled around the country for the movie campaign, catching the attention of many fans. It also played a major role as a billboard, and is a prop that can be said to be the face of the movie. The internal mechanics are complex and incorporate a variety of new technologies, so there were many problems with the gimmicks in various places, and during the campaign after the filming of the movie, the mechanical parts other than the internal skeleton were improved to something different from what was used during filming. It was exhibited at several events after that, and currently only the skeleton of the head remains, and it was exhibited at events in this state. As shown in the photo, it is currently fixed to a pedestal with steel frames for exhibition. The head alone is about 53cm tall, 40m wide, and the longest fang is about 9cm long. The total height including the base is approximately 171 cm.
