After three months of waiting and a payment plan, my Sideshow Collectible purchase has arrived. A big special box day deserves a video box opening. Now let’s see what’s inside in two parts!

It’s Yuji Sakai Best Collection Godzilla (2004) Poster Version “Goodbye, Godzilla” 酒井ゆうじベストワークスセレクション ゴジラ(2004)ポスターバージョン 「さらば、ゴジラ。」 I want to keep the box pristine. The statue is amazing. The sculpt, the detail and the paint application are impeccable. MyKaiju (me) created the box art in collaboration with Jeremy Soles of Summit Kaiju International. It is a great honor to help represent the masterful work of Godzilla Sculptor Yukon Sakai on behalf of X-Plus. A special thanks to Yuji Sakai, Akihiko “Gee” Okamoto, and Kazuma Matsubara of X-Plus and to friend and colleague Jeremy.
