ゴジラから日本を守るために甦ったヤマト聖獣の一匹。地中を猛スピードで掘り進むことができる赤い地底怪獣で、敵の足元から攻撃する奇襲戦婆を得意としている。『護国聖獣伝記』に基づき、防衛軍によって〝バラゴン〟と呼称された。

One of the Yamato sacred beasts revived to protect Japan from Godzilla. He is a red underground monster that can dig through the ground at a tremendous speed, and is good as an ambush warriors who attack from the feet of enemies. Based on the Biography of the Holy Beast, it was called “Baragon” by the Defense Forces.

妙高山で甦ったバラゴンは、大田切りトンネルで暴走族を襲撃、地中を南下して、山梨•本栖に出現。御殿場に侵入し、箱根•大涌谷でゴジラと激突した。『護国聖獣伝記』によれば、バラゴン、モスラ、ギドラは２千年前、古代王朝によって退治され、その霊を慰めるため､〝護国星獣〟と呼んで神として祀り、一万年の眠りにつかされたとされている。

Baragon revived on Mt. Myoko attacked a runaway tribe in the Daejeon tunnel, went south in the ground, and appeared in Yamanashi and Motosu. What is “Guardian Holy Beast Biography”?

伝記通りに３大怪獣が出現した。
Three big monsters appeared according to the biography.

バラゴン、モスラ、ギドラに関して、伊佐山嘉利教授が著した書物。妙高山、池田湖、富士樹海に眠る三聖獣の存在や、ヤマタノオロチャ狛犬が、ギドラやバラゴンの伝説に基づくものであることなどが記されているのだ。
