隕石に付着して、宇宙から来た謎の生物。地球上の生物とは正反対の性質を持っている。その体を構成するのは”ヘドリューム”と呼ばれる宇宙鉱物だ。

A mysterious creature that adheres to meteorites and comes from space. It has the opposite properties of creatures on earth. Its body is composed of space minerals called “hedrum.”

最初はオタマジャクシ状の姿をしており、汚染された海中に棲息するが、細胞同士の合体を繰り返し、海坊主型を経て、ついには二足歩行を身につけ上陸。

At first, it looks like a tadpole and lives in the contaminated sea, but it repeatedly coalesces cells, passes through the Umibozu type, and finally lands on two legs.

Umibōzu​ is a spirit in Japanese folklore. The Umibōzu is said to live in the ocean and capsize the ship of anyone who dares speak to it. This spirit’s name, which combines the character for “sea” with the character of “Buddhist monk,” is possibly related to the fact that the Umibōzu is said to have a large, round head, resembling the shaven heads of Buddhist monks. さらに円盤状に形態を変化させ、空を飛ぶようになり、最終 的にはゴジラを上回るほどの大きさにまで成長する。食性は水 銀、コバルト、カドニウムなど地球生物にとって、有害なものであれば何でも食べてしまう。

武器は、成長の段階でやや異 なり、水中棲息期には体当たり攻撃を得意とする。また、上陸 期には有害物質を多量に含んだヘドロ弾を発射。飛行期には滑空しながら、硫酸ミストなどを噴射する。巨大化期には体内で起こる核反応を利用し、眼球の上部から赤色の怪光線を発射するようになる。
