Thank you so much for making my dream come true! Several days ago I published MyKaiju Magazine. It would not have been possible without the help of fellow Godzilla friends: Michael of Vampire Robots, John of KaijuAddicts.com, Godzilla toy photographer David Dopko, Jeremy of Summit Kaiju, Rich of Fresh Vinyl Reviews, John Bellotti Jr of Robo7.com and each and every person who offered support and who purchased the first issue. MyKaiju Magazine is the realizing of a dream from many years ago. It was always on my mind. Whether it was in print or on the web, I was always envisioning and designing some newsletter or fanzine as some of my old graphics (1993-97) attest.

Throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s, there were not many as many English Godzilla books, but there were great magazines, such as Fangoria, Famous Monsters of Filmland, Fantastic Films, G-Fan, the lesser known Makalite, and more. There are treasures and are etched in our memories. They gave us the few pictures and information that we were hungry for. Today, we are so grateful for those publishers and writers. And those who continue to inspire today such as Ed Holland of Monster Attack Team Magazine. They were all and continue to be my inspiration.

MyKaiju Magazine is an expression of my love for all things Godzilla and of my desire to contribute to the fandom and to celebrate Godzilla and those who brought to life. I hope it will find its place in your collection and in your memories of Godzilla. The magazine will grow, improve, and hopefully better inform and entertain!
