Box Day 1975
Another Box Day cometh and brings an upgrade and improvement on the X-Plus 25cm Godzilla 1975 (東宝30cmシリーズ ゴジラ（1975）ショウネンリック限定版) with a 30cm rendition that gets a lot right with a few flaws. This figure has drawn both praise and criticism. But in the end the good out weighs its detractions. It’s an impressive figure in hand and more impressive in person than in photos. The sculpt is the most accurate X-Plus has for Godzilla 1975. Some improvements could be made in the texture around the mouth, increase the hand size, reduced the bulk of the torso and body so he is more slender as in the movie, and add more paint to the eyes, toes, and overall body. With that said, it’s a beautiful figure that captures the essence of this Showa suit. I have the Ric version comes with the head of MechaGodzilla and extra arm. Godzilla 1975 is my favorite and shows off the strength and determination of Godzilla as friend and ally. I recommend this film to fans of the last installment of the Showa era, the Terror of MechaGodzilla. Get while you can!
