Welcome the arrival of the latest Godzilla 2016 vinyl incarnation, the Plex Art Spirits Shin Godzilla (超激造シリーズ シン・ゴジラ 約300mm PVC製 塗装済み 完成品 フィギュア). After what appeared to a shipping delay, this beautiful figure shows up at the door. Although its size is somewhat disappointing (smaller than the Banpresto prize figure), everything else is just right. The Art Spirits Shin Godzilla is wonderfully sculpted with detailed complemented by its paint job. There are two heads: open mouth and split jaw. The teeth are fine and razor sharp especially for its size. The tail and dorsal fins are perfect. Its pose captures the moment awakens to attack the SDF at Tokyo Station. The figure also comes with a Shin Godzilla plaque for display purposes. This is a weighty and substantial figure (1.984kgs). It comes in at around $160. I highly recommended it.
